For many years Hallmark Travel has recognised the value of referrals and has been actively involved with a local business networking group called BNI – a little collection of local businesses, small and large, serious about growing their businesses and their reputations. Meeting on a Friday morning for breakfast at 7am – BNI’s Meridien Chapter – is the usual place for Charmaine. Members are Meriden include professions like Sturdy Edwards Financial Services, to trades like Absolutely Kitchen Bedrooms and Bathrooms – plumbers, electricians, hairdressers and florists
Now we have joined a new BNI group, The Horizon Chapter – meeting at Thursday lunchtimes – this is Gaby’s patch. Horizon has just launched and members include Waugh Solicitors, Howard Cundey and Hamilton Studios.
Apart from being a great source of new business, BNI raises our profile and gives us lessons in self-assurance and confidence. We learn the skills of public speaking, presentations, and how to make our point in 60 seconds and NETWORK!
