John, is the back office of Hallmark Travel - he keeps the accounts and admin under tight control! And I am glad to hand over the IATA BSP and VAT returns to him - so that I can concentrate on the sales and the shop...its much more fun down here with the girls!
Gill Lindley
Gill has lots of personal travel experience to offer you – Florida and Disneyworld, Canada East and West – Niagara Falls, and the Rocky Mountains – and Hong Kong – Gill is a qualified Hong Kong Specialist (and knows all the shops first hand!)...and now Gill has added Australia to her portfolio!
There is no doubt that Gill has a passion for travel. She has worked at the Royal Mail for many years, but enjoyed her job of the Social Club Secretary the most! Organising groups to theatres, long weekends abroad, and short city breaks – she has planned, promoted and escorted them all.
Now Gill is enjoying our counter, the manic Friday afternoons and the buzz!! Her enthusiasm is quite contagious!
Gabriele Scholes
If you like luxury, if you can appreciate that it doesn’t always mean ‘expensive’ you will find Gaby’s experience and point of view well worth considering. She has unquenchable thirst for new horizons and will advise you with meticulous care of your needs and comfort. Gaby came to us with a wealth of knowledge of South Africa and the Caribbean, but we are pleased to see her add to her portfolio since joining Hallmark Travel and visiting and hearing about Australia and Canada too
Jo Bradley
Since joining us Jo has taken up lots of training - she is now an accredited Canadian Counsellor and an Australian Specialist. She has also had the chance to visit both countries, which makes her a valuable Hallmark Travel Specialist But her first hand experience lies more in Australia – from Victoria, New South Wales and Alice Springs – Jo can now tell you all about South Australia, Kangaroo Island and Perth stopovers. She seems to be our action girl and most recently enjoyed the thrills and spills of theme parks and roller coasters on the Gold Coast, Southern Queensland. She also has a secret life of her own on Friday evenings when she dons her blue suede shoes and jives the night away.
More recently Jo has swapped her joggers and dancing shoes for the elegant dress code of Bermuda! Of course she has tried the best restaurants, but made time for all the activities Bermuda can offer- Marlin-fishing, and Helmet Diving to name just two!
Louise Williams
We would like to say welcome back to Louise – and so would lots of our clients too! Louise has been busy with her new baby, Amelia, but now she is back sharing her time between family and career. If you’re travelling on business, you will find Louise and her calm efficiency a breath of fresh air. If you are travelling for leisure, she has a keen eye for details and lots of personal experience to draw upon. The Seychelles, Canada and Dubai are among her favourite places and we suspect she’ll be an expert in Family Holidays soon!
Dorothy Howson
We have sent Dot to some far flung places – Guatamala, South Africa……but her passion is cruising, and we just can’t get her off the water!
But recently she has gone in for more active holidays – ranching (yes on horse back!) skiing(wherever there’s snow) and………sailing?
The whole family is lively and fun and recently at our Hallmark Travel get togethers Dot has lead us absailing and bowling. Try booking your holiday with Dot she takes the hard work out and delivers with a smile!
Becca Choppen
Becca has finished with school on a high with excellent A Level results, but now she is starting a career in Travel and Tourism and we can’t think of a better choice – in jobs or people! She has already become a familiar figure, helping out after school and on Saturdays, so we are delighted to have her with us full timeBecca is born and bred in East Grinstead, a real local girl - from Blackwell to Imberhorne schools – and with Hallmark Travel she will experience a little more of the world! Becca’s hobbies are creative – arts and craftwork, making beautiful and practical things from scraps and cards – and she loves children too, especially babysitting her little brother. Gillian Davis
Gillian has returned to the travel business after a break, bringing up her young family. Now she’s enjoying the manic deadlines and challenges at Hallmark Travel! Gillian has travelled extensively, and her favourite haunts include lots of Caribbean Islands. More used to dealing with travel agents, Gillian is getting to know how it feels on the other side and being a travel agent! And we think… she’s enjoying our company very much!
Natalie Huggett
There’s nothing like preparing for a career in travel, and learning from the best! Natalie has joined our team to get some practical learning experience after a full day at school. She is invaluable to us at the end of the day – and as a bonus… she has also travelled far and wide with her family having just returned from visiting Borneo’s Orangutans. How lovely to be young and at the start of an exciting career!
